Saturn Rise Over Mimas

Watercolor of Saturn rising over Mimas as it would look from Hershel’s Crater, as depicted in chapter 2 of The Return of the Osprey. Mimas is one of the 53 named moons of Saturn. It was discovered in 1789 by William Herschel. It is named after Mimas, a son of Gaia in Greek mythology. It serves as an emergency landing site for the Osprey after her misadventure with "leading edge" technology.
